Barbera d’Alba

Grape Variety: Barbera

Area of Production: Barbera d’Alba D.O.C.

Harvest:  Manual harvest, first half of October

Vinification: De-stemmed and fermented in stainless steel tanks for about 10-12 days.

Aging: After malolactic fermentation, it is matured in Slavonian oak casks for about twelve months.  After a further stop in stainless steel tanks, the wine is bottled, where it will continue its refinement.

Features: The color is ruby red with violet hues.  The bouquet has good intensity and persistence, winery expression, fruity and vegetal.  The palate is dry, with good acidity and tannins very delicate and almost imperceptible.  The recognizable aromas and good balance of all the components make this wine a product of good pleasure.

Pairings: Considered the quintessential wine in the table every day, pleasantly accompanies an entire meal, from appetizers to cheese, passing through the first and second plates of white and red meat.
