Grape Variety: Cortese
Area of Production: Located on the hills of the banks of the Lemme river in the provence of Alessandria. The vineyards are cenetered around the village of Gavi, near the Ligurian Appennines.
Altitude: 100-200 meters above sea level
Harvest: Second half of September
Vinification and Refinement: Soft pressing and static decanting. Slow algoholic fermentation under strict temerature control. Ready for bottling following the malolactic fermentation.
Color: Delicate, straw yellow with strong green reflections.
Bouquet: Soft, characteristic aroma with scents of fresh fruit
Taste: Dry but refreshing, keen and well balanced
Accompaniments: Ideal aperitif, accompanies hors-d’oeuvres and fish dishes. Suggested serving temperature at 10°-12°C.
