In the early 70’s when peasants left the countryside for the town, the Giannelli family, instead, decided to redevelop its small farm I MORI which has gradually grown since then.  Today the firm includes various farms and has extended its territory to 180 hectares of which 56 are vineyards and 15 olive-groves.  It is situated on the hills surrounding Florence in the Chianti area and its main crop is, naturally, the vines.  Year after year all the vineyards have being reneved with an accurate selection of new vines. The cellar for the wine-making, aging and bottling has been built in the year 2001 and is located along the “Strada del vino Chianti Colli Fiorentini”. This cellar is equipped to offer wine-tastings to the visitors.  Here sprouts the Chianti VILLA ANNA, together with many other Tuscan wines produced by the family Giannelli, which still takes care of the production respecting the environment and the tradition and certainly guaranting the Authenticity and “Tuscanity” of its products.

Grapes: Sangiovese 80%, Canaiolo 10%, Merlot 10%.

Color: Ruby red.

Bouquet: A scent of fruit.

Taste: Dry, slightly tannic.

Serving temperature: 18-20° C.

Foods: Wine for the entire meal, dishes of Tuscan cuisine.
